My research focuses on understanding how strong interactions give rise to emergent crystalline phases in quantum many-body systems using theoretical and computational approaches. I investigate phases that spontaneously break translational symmetry and the microscopic mechanisms governing their stability and collective excitations. My current work includes Wigner crystals in the two-dimensional electron gas and superconducting vortex lattices in anomalous quantum Hall systems, where electrons and vortices, respectively, self-organize into crystalline structures through many-body interactions.
