7 Must have passed Qualifying Exam by end of this semester and submitted written research plan.
 Dissertation research  
 Dissertation research.  Must present oral progress report each year prior to that of Doctoral Final Examination. 
 Take Doctoral Final Examination Submit dissertation to Graduate School.All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed within 5 years after the semester in which the Qualifying Examination is taken.
