Tenure-track Faculty Position in Theoretical Physics

The Department of Physics and Astronomy seeks to fill a tenure-eligible faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in the field of Theoretical Physics. This is a 9-month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025. Postdoctoral Position in Theoretical Physics (hep-th)

The University of Kentucky String Theory group is currently seeking applications for postdoctoral positions in string theory, quantum gravity, quantum field theory, quantum information, or related areas beginning in September 2025. Led by faculty Sumit Das, Anatoly Dymarsky, and Al Shapere, the group has a thriving research program and has successfully mentored many excellent postdocs.
