Illuminating the Dark Sector of the Universe

Observations of the distant stars tell us that we live in a Universe of dark matter and dark energy. I will review the evidence for these extraordinary conclusions and de-scribe how experiments in the coming years, both through ultra-sensitive measurements deep under-ground and through studies of colliding beams at ultra-high energies, may finally shed light on the nature of the dark sector.
