Abstract: Recently, black holes have come to be regarded as chaotic objects. We can expect that the origin of this black hole chaos is attributed to some string dynamics from the viewpoint of the black hole-string correspondence. In this talk, we present our series of studies aimed at identifying the string dynamics which give rise to black hole chaos. The contents are as follows:

(1) Transient chaos analysis in string scatterings at tree level

(2) Strategies for computing higher genus corrections: non-trivial saddles in string scattering amplitudes

(3) String-like melon diagrams exhibiting fractal behavior
