The Universe in Rainbow Colors and Beyond

How many colors can you see in a rainbow? In fact, nature has many more colors that our eyes cannot see, such as X-ray, ultraviolet, infrared, and radio waves. Although we cannot see them, scientists have built special cameras to see them. What does the Universe look like in those colors? I will introduce to you the Solar System, Milky Way, and the Universe beyond it as you have never seen them before.

Kentucky SkyTalk is part of an ongoing series. These are presented by the UK Department of Physics and Astronomy, and the MacAdam Student Observatory. Held every 2nd Thursday of the month, they are always free and open to the public.
