"Recent Results from Tests of Fundamental Symmetries with Ultracold Neutrons''

This talk will discuss two results from recent progress in the field of low-energy, high-precision tests of fundamental symmetries with ultracold neutrons. First, new results from precision measurements of parity violation in neutron beta-decay and their impact on the current landscape of a test of the self-consistency of multiple neutron beta-decay observables under the Standard Model will be presented. Second, the status of the development of a new search for the time-reversal-symmetry violating neutron electric dipole moment, the discovery of which would provide unambiguous evidence for new physics beyond the Standard Model, will be reported, including results from technical work here at UK.
