Condensed Matter Physics Group

Research in the condensed matter group at the University of Kentucky covers a wide range of experimental and theoretical work, with a focus on the unusual manifestations of quantum physics in novel materials. Topics studied here include, e.g., quantum magnetism, synthesis and study of complex materials, the quantum Hall effect, mesoscopic physics and graphene.
